Jello. Called jelly in the UK. Bouncy, transparent, endorsed by Bill Cosby.
Jelly. Made from fruit but no fruit bits, transparent, spread on toast. Not common in the UK, but probably just called "jam" and regarded as cheap jam.
Jam. Made of fruit, translucent or opaque but still homogenous in consistency.
Marmalade. Made of fruit, contains visible bits of fruit, semi-transparent. Same name both countries.
